Creating a brand experience centered around empowering and nurturing those that need disability support.

Ello Care is a disability services provider that’s big enough to be NDIS experts, SDA specialists and passionate advocates for people with disability, but small enough to know all their participants’ names and what makes them laugh. Being a brand new startup they needed a go-live strategy and a team to help develop their brand DNA. This needed to be a distinct style that stands out in a very crowded industry and not looking similar to competitors in their market. We developed their brand identity system which focuses on the individual (the client) and with a strong focus on creating a visual language that is accessible to those with visual and mental disabilities. Simple, open and honest are core elements that carers, support workers and individual clients need when finding the right provider. We provided a simple to use style guide to keep their brand message clear and consistent. We provided Ello Care the essential print collateral such as business cards and marketing brochures, so they hit the ground running and get the word out about their amazing services. Black Bear also provided UX planning and UI designs for their WordPress website. This new brand launch assisted in increasing the brand awareness of Ello Care in the south coast region and assisted with the growth of the company allowing Ello Care to hire more full-time support coordinators to further help their clients.
